There is an endless diversity  in Each region of India having  its own distinctive traits which  inevitably contribute to the profundity of the Indian culture 4m it is physical features 2 geologic structure , flora n fauna, demographic structure, races, languages, religions,  arts n crafts, customs ,  traditions.

 The Indian culture has persisted through the ages precisely for the reasons of antiquity, unity, continuity and the universality of its nature. The different parts of India, the north, the south, the east and the west make a wonderful display of their distinctive culture that have fascinated people all over the world

The language, dance, religions, music, various customs and architecture form the rich culture of India. India, the land of spirituality considers religion as an integral part of its entire tradition .The religious culture of India is one of the most diverse in the whole world which includes Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism and Sikhism. The variety of language spoken in India contributes 2 d richness of Indian culture. In fact, each state of India represents their respective language culture

 

Owing to its religious, cultural and regional variations, India has a large number of festivals and fairs each with a specialty of its own. Some of the integral festivals are Holi, Id, Durga Puja, Christmas, Diwali, Guru Nanak Jayanti, Ramadan and many more

The mosaic of art n culture, d potpourri of tradition, India stands as one of d oldest living civilization. The rich monumental heritage of India not only showcases the breathtaking architectural splendor and intricate work but, also serves as a testimony to India’s affluent past. indian crafts are known throughout the world for their artistic work and grandeur. The vast cultural tradition and ethnic diversity, has enabled a variety of crafts with different materials, motifs and techniques to flourish in this land. 

India has given birth to varied forms of dancing which have been preserved through the centuries, to become a part of our pride and delight.

 

India provides a picture of unity in diversity 2 which history provides no parallel. There is complete harmony in India in each of its cultural elements.

The   following quotation of the great American philosopher and writer Will Durant sums up this divine land as “India as the motherland of our races, and Sanskrit the mother of Europe’s languages, she is the mother of our philosophy, mother through the Arabs, of much of our mathematics, mother, through the Buddha of ideals, embodied in Christianity, mother through the village of community, of self government and democracy. Mother India is in many ways mother of us all!”

India stands as one of the oldest living civilisations admired world over for its diverse culture. It is a land full of colours of a traditional outlook to a modern culture and society. The rich cultural heritage marks the threshold of development of the country as a whole. It is the sole backbone of a million people homed in India.

Indian art and culture dates back to the time when Indus civilisation grew. India is famous for its diversity in every field and sphere. Every state in India has its own dance form, language, art style, song, folk tales, food variety, festivals, etc. The lifestyle of people also changes as we move from one part to another. The country shows a great variety and intimidation and stands as a unique example of one of the biggest successful democracies functioning in the world. . The intermingling of new customs and styles with the existing - is visible in all aspects - music, dance, painting, sculptures, architecture. Indian art form mirrors the adroitness, creativity and fineness of which they have been crafted by their creator. Contemporary art reflects an amalgamation of the traditional and modern outlook of the people. Considered the most ancient form of art, dance in India is rooted deeply in its religion and traditions and this is clearly depicted in the forms of dances. Festivals in India are characterized by vibrancy, fun, gaiety, togetherness, enthusiasm, happiness, fiestas, ancient stories, etc.The modern outlook of the citizens has also proved to be a great support to the government of the country and the industrialist and stockholders investing in India. Emerging as a big superpower the country has shown great development in each and every sphere and is a tough competition to most developed countries.

India is a truly gifted country and also shows variation in the physical landmark beauties – be it Kashmir in north or the island in the south, the Himalayas in the east or the coastal region of the west. No wonder the Indian tourism industry is rising at a huge scale.

Further, the greatness of India has been enhanced since it has accepted and cultured in itself the best from all the invaders over the years it has spent under their rule. Uniqueness in diversity is what India holds true to. There is an underlying basic factor cooperated with variations in the practices based on the local needs. This influence is common to the whole of India and in itself makes India a self sufficient heartthrob to the world around for its colourful, different yet outstandingly intermixed rich culture and heritage.
